| Through my photography I try to convey my unique perception of the world. My observation is that most people are too busy with their daily lives to notice the small, magical moments that occur everywhere every day. Ice storms, snowstorms in the middle of the night, a bird perched on a tombstone, fog-shrouded construction workers. These are all events that render the mundane -- magical. Being in that place, at that time – and recognizing it is the trick. I strive to ‘freeze’ these moments in time and capture that unique event when, for this single point in time, the small part of the universe where I am standing is displayed in a manner that may never come again. I hope my work moves you to view your surroundings with new eyes. |
